Island City Masonic Lodge # 330 in Minocqua is opening their scrap yard for the season on Friday May 15th at 10am. The yards will be open every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm through the summer.

Located by Northwoods Zip Line off of Adventure Camp Road. 2 miles south of Minocqua on hwy. 51.

Island City accepts all forms of scrap metal including, lawn mowers, old bed frames, aluminum boats, cars by arrangement, batteries, aluminum, steel, appliances, grills and more. We do not accept any electronics or tires. No drop offs will be accepted outside of regular hours, except by arrangement. Social distancing requirements must be complied with at all times.

The goal of the program is twofold. 1. Help people, and groups, in the Lakeland area remove unwanted scrap from their property, at no cost to them. 2. Use the monies raise for various projects which include the donation of Automatic External Defibrillators, or (AEDs), to area churches, schools, and community organizations.
